This was origionaly going to be our once and done to Asia but we couldn't fine a cruise to hit a bunch of places. We finally settled on a land tour and a cruise in Japan thru Princess. It was a relatively easy to plan once we picked one during a season I wont freeze. We got the same flights that Princess air was recommending but got them thru USAA and saved 500 dollars, but it is a long haul each way. 23 hours to get to Osaka, and 29 hours to get home from Tokyo. On the way home there is a 9 hr layover in San Francisco. we will probably get a hotel since it is from 8:30pm to 6am. We tried for economy plus on all the flights but couldn't get it to and from San Francisco, or from Taipei to Osaka, or Tokyo to Taipei. the only Economy plus ended up being the long haul over the ocean both ways, I guess that is best. The flights still ended up costing over 5k.
the land tour is 5 days, then a 9 day cruise. We are going to miss our puppy.
